Cost Per Action Marketing (Part 1) - The Easy Way To Earn Money Online. Or Is It?
Cost Per Action (CPA) Marketing - Will it really help the ordinary Joe?
Times are tough for a lot of people these days. I mean, they are looking for ways to save money or make more money - or both.
And what better place to turn to than the internet itself.
You see, when a person is in a desperate financial situation, they see very little (or no) light at the end of the tunnel. So naturally they search for answers. And they search the internet as it can oftentimes provide quick solutions.
One of those solutions that seems to draw people in their droves is CPA Marketing. Why? Because it appears to be simple and the financial rewards also seem to be pretty fantastic.
Well, is that really the case here?
Let\'s break this Cost Per Action Marketing down a little, so that we can take a peek inside to see what it\'s really all about.
First of all, CPA Marketing is essentially "Cost Per Action" or "Cost Per Acquisition" marketing. It means that you are paid for the action or acquisition of a prospect or lead. But, to make money online requires the sale of something. An exchange of goods for money? Would you agree?
Well yes, normally. But there are times when no money is required to change hands for both parties (the seller and the buyer) to benefit.
Huh?
I know that sounds a little odd. However, what some companies require are leads. Why? So that the company can follow up with these leads to generate a sale or sales. And they\'re willing to pay handsomely for those leads.
So from an affiliate point of view, this seems like a perfect system. Your job, as an affiliate, is to drive people to these offers. And when those people take the required action, you get paid.
So what is the required action?
That depends on what the advertiser is selling and what their goal is for their particular offer. Some require that a prospect complete a form. And when they do, you get paid. Others require that they download something. And when they do, you get paid.
Form filling is the most common one. This could be as simple as having the prospect enter their email address and submitting it. And you get paid for that action.
Other forms are a lot more detailed. These may require a lot more information from the prospect. When they complete that form, you get paid.
And during that process, no money changes hands. And you still get paid. And that\'s the magic of CPA Marketing. With that said, there\'s a lot more to it. So in the end, it may or may not be an easy way to earn money online. You really need to learn a little more to determine if you can really make money online with Cost Per Action Marketing.
